Our clients wanted an alternative to washing materials to remove contaminates and to remove water from wet waste to enable clean screening.
Client:
Multiple clients that operate waste transfer stations, grab lorries, aggregate processing, and soil treatments etc.
Products treated:
Soils, silts, clays, aggregates, pond settlings, gully waste and any other wet materials needing drying before further processing.
Challenge:
Our challenge was to design and build a continuous drying plant that could take wet materials at a rate of 30 tons per hour and dry the material in a clean and controlled manor, to enable the clean and efficient screening of the dried material to recover the aggregates and soils etc.
Solution:
Our solution was to build a mobile dying unit complete with self-loading hopper with built in feed belt, a discharge conveyor, and a cyclone filtration system to clean emissions. The plant can resolve all of our clients needs giving them the capability to dry their material for further clean processing or screening.
Result:
Through R&D we created a totally self-contained and mobile drying unit capable of drying all manner of materials to help in further processing, or in some cases, to remove water content to make their materials lighter for cheaper haulage and disposal.
